The Dutch 2-wheeler market has always anticipated trends and in the pre-covid period was the first on growing a relevant electric scooter segment, becoming the largest in Europe in this segment, with the total market pushed up for years.
Now the electric manufacturers are facing troubles, mainly originated by the Chinese supply chain and the scooter segment is sharply declining, bringing down the entire industry.

Looking at top manufacturer’s performance, La Souris Commercial is the new leader with sales down 18.1%, better than the former leader, Piaggio which lost 39.3%.
In third place SYM lost 30.1% while in 4th place Honda gained 35.5%.
