Suzuki Global Sales Trend

Suzuki ranks as the seventh largest motorcycles/scooter manufacturer in the World, considering annual global registrations.

Global sales improved between 2016 and 2019 from 1.3 million to 1.6 million, before the covid 19 spread around the world, with sales declined back at 1.3 million in 2020.

Starting from 2021 global sales are back in an almost positive pathway and in 2023 reached the 1.9 million, back at the best performance in the last decade hit in 2012, thanks to a positive performance in the majority of the countries.

2023 performance was driven up by the success in the two largest country for Suzuki, India (+21.7%) and China (+7.1%). Together these two markets counts 61.3% of the total.

Sales were negative in ASEAN (-7.7%), in Latin America (-3.5%) and in the Pacific area  (-6.0%).
