The motorcycles industry represents a primary individual mobility sector in the country with almost relevant performances in the last decade. In the 2025 sales reported by the local Minister of Transportation have been 278.292 (commercial 3Ws are not included) a +12.3% from the correspondent period last year. That was the second best selling year ever.

Both scooter and motorcycles segment are moderately improving (respectively +28.9% and +7.9%) and the Electric segment, still very marginal is now growing up 33.7%.
Market Leaders and Performance
Looking at the competitive arena, the market leader, Honda has a wide margin over all the other and easily defended the position during the 2026, reporting sales surging 36.4%.
The first challenger is the local manufacturer Ronco (+30.4%) followed by the fast growing Bajaj Auto in third with a fast trend (+23.7%).
In fourth place the local brand Wanxin (+16.8%) os followed by Nexus (+56.0%) and JCH (+72.4%).
In seven place Lifan (+6.4%), followed by Yamaha (+37.8%), Ssenda (+33.4%) and over hundred other competitors.
