The motorcycles market in Paraguay represents the primary individual device for local people, still living with one of lowest per-capita income in the region and during the last year kept its route, reporting a new increase.
The industry is supported by a positive economic momentum and even by the recent government focus on a green policy and the macroeconomic outlook seems to have found a stabilization after a period of high volatility.
Most of two-wheelers are imported from China and locally assembled with CKR method and sold with local brands, while international OEMs, like the Japanese and the Indian still have a marginal rule, while premium brands, like BMW or Triumph have just very little sales, as the 99.9% of the demand is focused on commuting us and just few customers are in the leisure segment.

The electric segment is still very small, but is rapidly expanding after that the world leader, the Chinese Yadea, started local operations, pushing up the segment by 131.7% last year.
The market is dominated by the local manufacturer Kenton, which increased sales by 12.4%.
In second place Leopard (+8.4%%) and in third Taiga (+9.1%).
The first non domestic OEM is Honda, ranking in fourth with sales increased 19.0%.
