Suzuki Global Sales Trend

Looking at Suzuki motorcycles global performance in the last decade, it seems that the sharp fall suffered in 2020 during the covid period marked a strong strategic shift pushing the company to invest and to intensify the efforts to expand the global performance.

The global presence was already wide before covid, with a presence in over 100 countries and a well established reputation, but while between 2010 and 2019 they aimed to be stable and defend their volumes at around 1.5 million annual sales, since 2021 a new wave is in place.

Indeed, posting five consecutive growing years, in 2025 Suzuki reached the all time record with near 2.2 million sales, ranking as the seventh best motorcycles manufacturer in the world.

Two regions are driving up the performance, the Indian (+9.9%) and Latin America (+25.1%), with spectacular growth in countries like Brazil (+51.2%), Peru (+43.3%), Costa Rica (+40.0%), Colombia (+33.4%).

Losing over 18.000 sales from the previous year, Western Europe was the negative high last year. Suzuki suffered for the industry decline and for the heavy attack of Chinese manufacturers, reporting record fall in all top EU countries, with France down 35.3%, Germany 65.8%, Italy 51.6%, UK 37.7%, Poland 28.75, Spain 44.2%.
