McD tracks new vehicles registrations across the World (over 85 countries), reporting data on calendar year. When you wish to compare data reported by us to those declared by the manufacturers, consider they usually report their “sales” (vehicles invoiced), which are usually different from “registrations”, accordingly with their fiscal year split.
Global Sales Performance
TVS Motors is the 4th largest motorcycles manufacturer in the world and one of the fastest growing.
TVS aims to be the “premium” Indian motorcycles manufacturer and is pursuing this strategy improving under any aspects, starting from the R&D and production, learning by working with the partner BMW, evolving the line up with more style and more technological features. And this is working!
In terms of global sales development, TVS is fast growing both in the domestic indian market and in the international market, reporting in 2025 a new all-time record sales with 4.3 million sales, up an outstanding 13.1%.
Domestic sales reached the 3.87 million (+14.2%) consolidating the third place in the total 2W market and achieving a respectable leadership inside the EVs segment.

Outside India, sales increased only 4%, due to the 57.7% lost in Turkey, and although a double digit growth in all the other regions.
2026 Company’s Goals
In 2026 TVS will focus on improving the product portfolio to win the challenging task to emerge in Europe, where activities started in 2025, with first sales reached in Italy and Germany. Now they will expand the distribution in Spain, Portugal and other countries, but the product line up looks not yet ready with European demand.
Looking at the new models ready in the pipeline the expected launch should regard an EV version for the XL and for the Jupiter, a new commuter 125 called Fiero 125, a new cruiser called Zeppelin and the flex fuel version for the Raider 125.
We do not see a model evolution which can improve the company appeal in the most advanced markets, while these new models can reinforce the offer in the Latam, Africa and Indian regions.
