Kawasaki Global Sales Performance is disappointing. In the first six month 2025 global registrations have been 244.887 (-2.9%), although a strong performance in Latin and North America. The manufacturer is losing terrain under Chinese and Indian competitors.

Kawasaki Global Sales Trend
Kawasaki is well known as the Japanese motorcycles manufacturers specialized in racing and extreme vehicles and most of sales derive from this portion of the market, while in few countries, they distribute under their brand low-cost indian-made motorcycles, we not benefit for the image and arguable effects o n profits.
Global 2-wheeler sales hit the all-time record in 2019 at 574.618 units, before to sharply decline in the following year, due to the global market decline hit by covid19.
Since 2021 a slow recovery is in place, but is well below all main competitors and even in 2024, sales did not increased ending the year with 478.125 registrations (-2.4%), mainly due to the sales lost in China.
Turning to 2025, the first half performance is disappointing those expecting for a recovery. Indeed, in the first six month this year Kawasaki registrations have been 244.887 (-2.9%).
The positive performance reported in the rest of the world was not enough to balance the sharp fall reported in ASEAN, a region counting 40% of the total for Kawasaki, with H1 sales down a sharp 15.1%.
In the rest of the world sales have been positive, with outstanding performance in Latin America (+30.5%) and North America (+17.1%).
Notable performance was achieved in Europe, a region deeply down so far this year, where Kawasaki contained the lost at a little 1.4%.
