Italika Motorcycles hit the 20th record sales in a row. In 2024 registrations hit the record of 1.3 million (+36.2%) with outstanding performance not only in Mexico, but even in Guatemala (+7.7%) and Honduras (+14.3%).

Global Sales Trend

Italika, the Mexican Motorcycles Manufacturer, in on an astonishing record track since two decades and last year confirmed again the growth.

Born in 2005, the company has always increased annual sales and now this is the 20th record in a row.

Indeed, in 2024 registrations hit the record of 1.3 million (+36.2%) with outstanding performance not only in Mexico, but even in Guatemala (+7.7%) and Honduras (+14.3%).

Thanks to this result, the Mexican Motorcycles manufacturers is the 8th largest manufacturers in the World, up 2 places from the previous year.

New Investments

Grupo Salinas has invested over MX$500 million (US$27.6 million) in launching its second motorcycle assembly plant in Mexico, Ensamblika Guadalajara, located in El Salto, Jalisco. The facility will assemble motorcycles from Italika, Hero, and Benelli, focusing on meeting growing demand in northern Mexico.

Spanning 71,000 square meters, the Ensamblika Guadalajara plant features two state-of-the-art production lines and is designed to assemble up to 500,000 motorcycles annually, producing 31 different Italika models. It serves 16 states across Mexico and benefits from its strategic location near the Port of Manzanillo, which helps reduce delivery times. Italika also operates a plant in Toluca, State of Mexico, which has been in operation for 20 years.
