Kawasaki Global Sales Performance is disappointing. In the first nine months of 2023 global sales have been 372.000 (+3.2%) projecting the year only marginally ahead of the previous.

Kawasaki is well known as the Japanese motorcycles manufacturers specialized in racing and extreme vehicles and most of sales derive from this portion of the market, while in few countries, they distribute under their brand low-cost indian-made motorcycles, we not benefit for the image and arguable effects o n profits.

Global 2-wheeler sales hit the all-time record in 2019 at 545.501 units, before to decline in the following two years below the 0.4 million, due to the global market decline hit by covid19.

In 2022 sales recovered moderately but in 2023 sales trend is almost flat.

Indeed, in the first nine months of 2023 global sales have been 372.000 (+3.2%) projecting the year only marginally ahead of the previous.

While sales are growing fast in West Europe (+15.6%), East Europe (+11.5%) and in the Indian region (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and others) (+14.6%) in the rest of the world the speed is slower. 

In North America is +7.9%, in ASEAN +2.9% while is negative in Japan (-14%), South Korea (-43.1%) and Taiwan (-64.4%).

Kawasaki Motorcycles is a division of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, a firm born in the 1878 in a shipyard.
