TVS Motor Global Sales is fast growing. During the first half 2025 results, total sales globally reached 2.0 million (+9.8%) consolidating the ranking of fourth best motorcycles manufacturer gained last year and reducing the gap from Yamaha.

When you wish to compare data reported by us to those declared by the manufacturers, consider they usually report their “sales” (vehicles invoiced), which are usually different from “registrations”, accordingly with their fiscal year split. 

TVS Motors is the 4th largest motorcycles manufacturer in the world with a record of 3.8 million sales achieved in 2024.

TVS aims to be the “premium” Indian motorcycles manufacturer and is pursuing this strategy improving under any aspects, starting from the R&D and production, learning by working with the partner BMW, evolving the line up with more style and more technological features. And this is working!

In terms of global sales development, TVS is fast growing inside the domestic indian market, even taking the opportunity raised by the electric segment, in which was market leader during the first half 2025. Sales in India reached the 3.4 million in the 2024 (+11.7% versus the previous year) and in the first half 2025 reached a new record of 1.8 million.

Outside India, the company has rapidly developed a global network and is improving sales volume. Actually international activity counts 10% of the total.

Although the current line up is not perfect for the European consumers, last year TVS Motors started operations even in the high competitive German and Italian market, at the moment with marginal results, while the activities started a couple of years ago in Turkey have immediately achieved high volumes.

Looking at first half 2025 results, total sales globally reached 2.0 million (+9.8%) and sales are fast growing (+10.5%) in the Indian region (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and others), in North America (Mexico +87.8%), in ASEAN (+25.0%) and in Latin America (+22.2%).
